I have better results leaving the altitude parts of the auto pilot turned off and just carefully trimming things but it’s labor intensive comparatively speaking.Īll in all this is one beautiful piece of Cold War history that I enjoy flying faults and all.īased on use with Win 10 FSX SE 3. 75 but still bobs up and down enough to keep me wary. It seems to hold altitude better at around fl500 and a speed around Mach. I guess just don’t leave it unattended for long when flying with AP is in use. I’ve asked JF about it, but so far no response. It’s crazy how wildly this thing will pitch up and down when altitude hold is engaged and powered on. Holding altitude is painful and the bird does a lot of porpoising at rates from +/- 500fpm up to +/- 4000 fpm Vertical speeds. Only troubles I’ve really had are with the Vulcans AutoPilot. That legendary howl is sweet! It seems a little over powered with regards to its climb rate and top speed at high altitudes but better over powered than under powered (looking straight at JustFlights Grossly underpowered Tornado GR1) I say! I tried a few freeware options and none came anywhere close to the high quality and realistic plane here! This is one of my favorite JustFlight releases. This is an amazing representation of the Vulcan! Exquisite detail leaving seemingly nothing out. Overall, I am fairly happy with the aircraft, but the above would make me ecstatic and make me much more liable to recommend it to others. The external visual model is great, but I would like the ability for the aircraft to accept my custom tail number as entered in the sim.
If that can't be done, at least an animation of the windows opening instead of instant open and instant close.
If you intend to create your own livery please download our new HD paintkit for x737project version 5. It is very common to fly with the windows in a partially open position, from what I have seen. I would also like to see, as others have mentioned, the ability to open the side windows partially. (I am a former RW pilot, but have never flown an Ercoupe). Landing is very unrealistic from what I have seen from the numerous Ercoupe videos I have watched. I was hoping that it would also address the very noticeable tendency of the aircraft to float forever down the runway with the throttle at idle.
Once the -900ER is updated to current -800 standards, I'll go back and update this livery as well as include more in a package. nmls (normalmaps) for engine cowling reflections and custom. The 1.1 update solved one issue I had, which was the tablet on the yoke. Due to popular demand, I converted my -800 United livery to the -900ER. I loved the Ercoupes offered for XPlane and P3D, and was hoping for one for MSFS, and here it is. I jumped at this when I first heard of it.
